Kristen has a new job in the series finale of Evil, but her old job isn't letting her go that easily — and neither is her old nemesis.
In this exclusive clip from Thursday's episode of the Paramount+ drama, titled "Fear of the End," Leland (Michael Emerson) surprises Kristen (Katja Herbers) in her office, where she's now opened a therapy practice. To get in the door, he's made an appointment with her under a fake name, pretending to be a new patient.
"I'm having some issues with self-worth and a certain vacuity in my life," Leland says. "I think it's because I'm just tired of winning."
While a poised Kristen calls the cops on Leland for violating her restraining order against him, Leland makes an interesting proposition: He'd like Kristen to meet The 60, the mysterious demonic houses who've organized around the pursuit of evil. He swears that if she just does him this favor, he'll never bother her or her daughters again.
"I'll be out of your life," he says. "Pinky promise."
He offers to shake on it, but Kristen tases him instead. Check out the full clip above.
