The bad news is that we won't be getting Season 3 of And Just Like That... until 2025. The good news is that production on Season 3 of And Just Like That... is in full swing. And although Kim Cattrall recently shut down rumors of another Samantha Jones return, the eclectic cast continues to grow.

On May 1, Sarah Jessica Parker confirmed that And Just Like That... Season 3 has officially gone into production. While no specific dates have been announced yet, Variety previously reported that the series is targeting a 2025 premiere.

And Just Like That... Season 3 cast

Kim Cattrall has spoken: In response to rumors that Samantha Jones would be appearing in Season 3 of And Just Like That... following her brief cameo in the Season 2 finale, Cattrall got online to shut everyone down. "Aw that's so kind but I'm not," she wrote on X in response to a fan who claimed she'd be reprising her role. Well, that settles that.

Mehcad Brooks, Jonathan Cake, and Logan Marshall-Green will join Season 3, all in recurring guest roles. Elsewhere in the cast, Sebastiano Pigazzi, who plays Anthony's boyfriend Giuseppe, and Dolly Wells, who plays Miranda's colleague Joy, have been elevated to series regulars.

Additionally, Cheri Oteri announced via Instagram in May that she had joined the cast. Earlier in May, Rosie O'Donnell announced, also via Instagram, that she had joined the cast as a character named Mary. 

Deadline has reported that Karen Pittman will not return as Professor Nya Wallace. Also exiting the cast in Season 3 is Sara Ramírez, who will not reprise their role as Che Diaz.

Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis will return for Season 3. It was confirmed that other cast members, like Mario Cantone, Sarita Choudhury, Evan Handler, David Eigenberg, Nicole Ari Parker, and John Corbett will be returning as well.
