Buy the whole Dark Knight trilogy for under $20
July 11 is Prime Day, the annual event when Amazon makes a big push for Amazon Prime sign-ups by providing huge discounts to subscribers on tech and home products and Amazon services like audiobooks, music and streaming video. In the lead-up, Amazon is offering preliminary deals on a different Prime service each day. Today is streaming video day, and there are some deep discounts on some great movies for purchase and rental.
Today only, Prime subscribers can buy movies that usually cost in the $13-14 range for $4.99. And these aren't movies you won't want to watch, either. Offerings include Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy of Batman Begins, The Dark Knight andThe Dark Knight Rises; the Lord of the Ringstrilogy and the Hobbit trilogy; classics like Casablanca and Singin' In the Rain; trash-art masterpiece Spring Breakers; and Disney Channel movies like Descendants and Camp Rock.
On the rental side, there are some great movies available for $.99, like Se7en, Beetlejuice, The Notebook and The Departed(which Amazon is adapting into a series), as well as some of the movies listed in the previous paragraph.
Amazon is also offering a great deal for new Prime subscribers (or users who just haven't streamed anything yet) where first-time streamers get a $10 credit. So sign up for a free trial and start streaming!
