Hannah's journey will continue on Tuesday, June 11
Trying to watch The Bachelorette? You'll have to try again tomorrow.
The NBA Finals are bouncing The Bachelorette to Tuesday, June 11. Host Chris Harrison broke the news on Twitter last week and ABC's website confirms the shift. Instead of its usual Monday at 8/7c airing, The Bachelorette will air on Tuesday at the same time. Adjust your DVR/Amazon Prime wine delivery accordingly.
Game 5 of the series between the Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors takes place Monday at 9/8c live from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, preceded by a special Jimmy Kimmel Live at 8/7c and the pregame show at 8:30/7:30c. The Raptors could end the series on Monday night, as they have a 3-1 lead over the Warriors. It could be a historic game that clinches Toronto's first NBA title and ends the Golden State dynasty. Or the Warriors could keep hope alive. The Bachelorette's Tuesday airing will replace reruns of ABC's comedies.
Most importantly, this schedule change means that the next episode of TV Guide's unofficial The Bachelorette podcast A Beautiful Podcast to Fall in Love will go up on Wednesday, not Tuesday. I know it'll be hard to go an extra day without me and Jacqueline Trumbull in your earholes, but it is what it is.
