Kate Winslet is also nearly unrecognizable
Let the Oscar buzz begin.
Michael Fassbender morphs into Steve Jobs in the first trailer for the upcoming biopic about the divisive late Apple co-founder.
The trailer highlights a rift between Jobs and his business partner, Steve Wozniak (Seth Rogen), as well as Jobs' notoriously prickly professional demeanor as he worked tirelessly to make Apple one of the biggest companies in the world.
The movie, which hits theaters on Oct. 9 (four days after what would have been Jobs' 60th birthday) and is based on Walter Isaacson's best-selling biography of Jobs, also stars Jeff Daniels and a nearly unrecognizable Kate Winslet as Macintosh marketing head Joanna Hoffman. Danny Boyle is directing the script penned by Aaron Sorkin.
Jobs died in 2011 after battling pancreatic cancer.
