The state of Oklahoma experiences a series of storms that rapidly intensify, quickly putting its citizens in severe danger. The state recruits former storm chaser and scientist Kate Cooper to develop a solution. While contending with her past trauma and racing against time to develop experimental technology, Kate encounters the charismatic social media storm chaser Tyler Owens, who soon proves to be a reliable ally in the fight against the raging storms.
