What's New on Disney+ in November

If you're only using Disney+ for Marvel movies, The Simpsons, and Star Wars shows, then you're missing out on one of the best contributors to Disney+: National Geographic. The wildlife- and science-centric network has a trio of new options coming to Disney+ in November — though none really fall under "family viewing" — including the four-part docuseries Tsunami: Race Against Time, a harrowing recounting of the 2004 tsunami that devastated parts of Thailand and Southeast Asia and the local heroes who saved lives. 

Also coming from NatGeo are Endurance, a film following the efforts of explorers to find the Endurance, a British vessel captained by Sir Ernest Shackleton in the early 1900s that froze in the ice for over a year, and The Stanford Prison Experiment: Unlocking the Truth, a docuseries revisiting one of the most controversial social experiments ever conducted, using interviews with participants. Elsewhere, Disney+ salutes master composer John Williams in Music By John Williams, takes an intimate look at the Beatles in the documentary Beatles '64, and rings in the holidays with the animated short film An Almost Christmas Story.
