What to watch while hiding out from the cold
Here's what you shouldn't do: wonder how it's possible that 2024 is almost over. Here's what you should do: get excited about all the new TV coming your way in the near future. This winter, returning champions like Severance (for its long-awaited second season), Squid Game (for its even longer awaited second season), Yellowjackets (for its third season), Virgin River (for its sixth season), and more will grace your TV, keeping you warm in these cold, cold months.
Elsewhere in the winter TV schedule, there are plenty of fresh new shows to check out as well. As always, the stars are out, from Jude Law in the kid-friendly Star Wars: Skeleton Crew to Robert De Niro in the conspiracy thriller Zero Day. You can catch TV icons like Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano in Dead to Me creator Liz Feldman's new series, No Good Deed, and (character actress) Margo Martindale in the dark comedy The Sticky. If you want to stick in relatively familiar territory, the Dexter prequel, Dexter: Original Sin, also premieres this season. It's going to be a very busy few months, so we've gone ahead and curated a list of the shows that we're most excited about.
Below, you'll find our preview of the best shows to watch from December 2024 through February 2025.
